OCC Finance Technology appoints new head of sales

OCC, the software house that specialises in products for the financial services and property sectors has appointed Itayi Bimha to head up its drive for sales effort.  He will be based at the company’s head office in Hammersmith.

Prior to joining OCC, Itayi was Global Account Manager for Cogent Communications, the Multinational Tier 1 ISP offering Internet access and data transport and colocation services.  Prior to Cogent, Itayi has had a number of senior sales positions for mobile network 3, Datamonitor, Adler and Cobra Group.

OCC Finance specialises in the development of CRM systems including Intellicalc”, a sales generation tool designed for business growth in an Internet age, and “Apptrack”, a Cloud-based CRM software for tracking which allows a full ‘end-to-end’ sales process and business growth. Apptrack also provides increased tracking and transparency within a brokers business and its introducers, making lead management easier and more efficient for the business. AppTrack enables brokers to improve and increase tracking, and reduce processing time whilst giving introducers the opportunity to view the status of their leads.

INTELLICALC is an online mortgage calculator which combines the search for a mortgage and for a property into one simple process. It can also be used to provide clients with a smart simple guide to what they can afford linking them directly to the broker.

APPTRACK is a front-end-sale tracking system (CRM) which is designed by brokers for brokers and provides increased tracking and transparency within a brokers business and its introducers, making lead management easier and more efficient for the business. Recognising the dual benefits that Intellicalc and Apptrack would give them, Capricorn Wealth Management signed their original 12 month contract with OCC in October 2009.

Utilising the OCC products as key USPs in their service they signed up over 25 estate agents in 6 weeks from launch.

OCC was able to roll out Intellicalc to all sites within 2 weeks of signing, and customise the look and feel of the product to suit each customers design.

Capricorn stats for the first year show very strong growth in what is still a very weak market overall, and this has enabled Capricorn to cement their position as the fastest growing mortgage practice in Openwork, the largest advisory network in the UK.

Capricorn have just signed up a new contract committing them to OCC for the next 3 years and are about to embark on another period of expansion

In January 2011, the Shepherd's Bush based Jorgensen Turner became the 50th estate agent in London to choose Intellicalc®. Working alongside our exclusive London partner, Capricorn Financial, JT felt that Capricorn's outsourced mortgage brokerage solution, encompassing both Intellicalc and Apptrack was the ideal way for them to help develop this side of the business. The results of this partnership are already being felt and Capricorn are helping out a number of JT's purchasers with their mortgage needs and the feedback thus far is very strong. Paul Jorgensen has ambitious plans for JT and is already eyeing up potential sites for expansion and is expecting to roll this solution out to all future branches as well.
